Fashion Week 10

Luca Luca has a delicate, soft look to the collection. All complementary colors to increase aristocratic aroma of such an superior person.


Nothing exciting from the Oscar de la Renta line. Oh, it's for older women. I will never be fond of big bows.


Malo has strong Asian feeling to the line, emerging culture texture in the line. Laird Borrelli-Persson commented, "And the duo obviously has a real feel for texture—as skirts that looked as if they were constructed out of silken Chinese knots did this one."


Anna Sui's play-dress theme is definitely entertaining. The colorful extensions or wigs were such an assessment to the line. It was rockin', maybe too much.


The pleasing line of Richard Chai's highlight was the composition on the back. It's an itch to wait for the models to turn so we can be in awe.




Marc Jacobs look like he had a deadline but he was busy with his boy toy. So he threw all ideas at once. It's very vivid, wild, and a big, "what?" Still, there's a huge controversy on those backward heels. But I will say this: it is not the first that concept was made.




The Jill Stuart line, I appreciate most of it. I love the aggressive notion of the structure.

Fashion Week 09

I visualized the Charlotte Ronson ladies enjoying a earth day at the beach. but hardly innovative - the apparel, that is.


Diane von Furstenberg continues to design with vengeance. Let's not copy her works, folks. Now, how is the spring line this time? The line glows of free-flowing and mirth. The audience seems to be for older, sophisticated ladies.


Derek Lam is attractive but there is a sort of substantial expression missing. But the line is still a striking, well-done line. I like this concept but I have to mentally alter it and change the hue...




Michael Kors' line is appropriate as usual. All are modest and mannerly. One that caught my eyes were Sacha's gold top. Radical.




The vibrant colors in Tuleh were impressive but somewhere oddity. There seems to be no consistency in this line.


3.1 Phillip Lim is a perpetual satisfaction for us and he continues to do so. The shoes I enjoyed the most in his collection.


I love the shape-fitting dresses of Narciso Rodriguez's. Very sexy and a laudable collection.


Jason Wu has an amiable collection, i fancy it. This one is an eye-catching:




Carolina Herrera has floral textile and silkscreening. Polka dots. Stripes. It all looks so strange enough to blur out the few decent ones.


Really, what is this? *rubs my eyes*

Fashion Week 08

Threeasfour has creatively merged cutouts into one along with adding folds. But the ruffles... was too much. Ah, I am fond of this one:



A shoutout to DKNY - don't be shy and toss the gigantic hats. It was a distraction, really. Nothing of this collection interests me.


Sleek and hard is what Noir has to say this time. Not the best nor worse.


United Bamboo has a boring collection. If I had to like something, it was always on the Asian model one.


I like a few pieces from Stærk but nothing from it excites me.


Gorgeous Phi collection! I love it. Business ladies with intrepidity! Oh, I love the boots, too. Fabulous.




Ruffian line - i enjoyed it. The makeup, runway layout, and the outfits were entertaining (comparing to the last several mundane shows). There is a few odd (incorrect sizing?) outfits that only hardcore punks (or anyone with guts) would enjoy.

Fashion Week 07

Strong solid colors and black creates an apt gateway to Y-3; along with strong representation of sports, which is expected. I enjoyed the runway design, that I did.


To describe Malandrino, I would say if you cut it vertically in half, it would look same on both side. For most outfits, anyway. It reeked of 70's pattern, actually.


I really like the line of Tracy Reese - the fantastic design... oh, the hair is too adorable. I am delighted with this... (ignoring the sequin ones).




Benjamin Cho definitely did more than to be safe on his collection. I believe it was a good risk, considering I've never seen something like this (I wish it wasn't tucked, I'd love to see how it looks like longer). Although, the makeup on the models are kinda scary...





Rosa Cha's swimsuits look like a tested patterns sown, toss on the models, and let them walk away. That was the half section. The other part, I humbly appreciate - the cutout design on swimsuits is beautiful.




Ralph Lauren's line definitely applies to equestrians just like earlier post on. Only, this collection also applies to the audience! Very elegant and complacency. This one uses floral patterns, too - which I haven't seen in a long time since my bed linens.

Fashion Week 06

Charles Nolan - elegant and soft classy - but I can't say much for the men's garment version. The dull pearls aren't contributing much to the attire. However, this is the most diversity I've seen upon a designer show.


the preppy, casual wear are common in Lacoste line. This time, it is no surprise at all. The smiling models are a cute surprise, thought!


Such high-cut and fun in the mix, i can see in the Temperley collection. The boots screamed of determination; that's excellent thing for me.


Costello Tagliapietra focus on solid colors and tailored cutting. I can imagine having wonderful accessories, it would make the whole presence of the outfit magnificent. in which i do like this one:




Rodarte was very fresh and high cut, like a brief trip to the future. The poppy-straight skirts aren't a great assessment but hey, it completes the theme.



Ah. I have huge expectations from Diesel. And I found out: ah, hmm. I love a few outfits, but the rest were... too bright or unwearable. They should focus on designing business outfits more. I love this.

Fashion Week 05

The dazzling flocks seem to be popular among the Chaiken line. I'm not sure if I do enjoy the horizontal belt, maybe seeing it too often on outfits confused me. Overall, the garments does look soft and touchable.


Max Azria's decent line is to expected of; with the blowy flocks and the fit-shaped casual business outfits.


The commanders from the Proenza Schouler line are very demanding and strong. This can be seen in the attire, full of structure, manipulative patterns, and bronze buttons. I enjoy the heels but in no way I will ever like the stubbed area.




Behnaz Sarafpour has nature of patterned leaves embedded in the garments, along with casual outings. But nothing of unusual appeared in this line.


I never had enjoy Baby Phat. This time, the line still looks like an expensive version of those cheap outfits over on Hollywood Blvd. It still ain't lookin' good, if ya know what i mean. The colors never cease to baffle me.


The loose, shimmering clothing in the Cynthia Rowley line shows us to have fun and to 'riding' away on a bicycle (like the designer herself did!). However, this one i like and is the climax of the whole thing:




Thakoon's boogling patterns wasn't flattering on the models; but the casual, tailored outerwear was decent enough to save the line.


Sari Gueron's drapings and specific patterns were likable. I am willing to overlook a few bag-like fabric outfits for this.


The neutral colors in the Doo.Ri line was strong and emphasizing on shapes. I do enjoy it, although none of the outfits I would whole-wear. I'ld mix and match. This gown was one I enjoyed- the distinctive lines grabbed my eyes. I would love to check out the back, though.

Fashion Week 04

The color tones in the Karen Walker line are a reflection of spring fever and those with equestrian skills.


Douglas Hannant creates perfectly apparel for a fabulous time in the Hamptons.


Imagine you're going on a safari trip to Africa but you want to look your best. Also, there's attire for all those oh-the-dread meetings in Cape Town. That's where TSE comes in. The strong cut and solid colors play a great part in this line.


J. Mendel contains amazing neutral colors with a few pops of tertiary colors. The flocks are the climax of this line.



The framework of marble and optic illusion are immersed in the Vera Wang line, giving an atmosphere of shiny, dramatized of upcoming quagmire. Ignoring a few bag sacks, she has it going.


There were some appealing designs by Jeremy Laing, however the lack of visualized melody left me wondering if the garments are intangible. However, Joanna Rodger reviewed: "The designer worked those structured folds to clever effect, creating both slim and voluminous silhouettes out of the high-tech fabrics he loves. A deep, asymmetrical fold was slashed across the length of a belted sack dress, leaving one side tented and the other slim as a blade of grass." I didn't realized it was high-tech fabrics, so i shall know that term will leave me itchy by looking upon it.



Baglike scrunchies seem to be one of Y & Kei's predicated assessment but it is not. With the horrible, inconvenient background that would be such a convenient in a kid's playground. However, there is a pure peacock-patterned flock that seem to calm everyone's main of focus.
